  • Financial Meltdown Incoming?

    2023-08-07

This is a bit long and rambling, but never mind the shouty presentation (yes, they are American), but look at the facts presented.

You won't find the substance of this on the BBC until it's all over.

"... the Gold Token cannot be attacked if it's not a currency... "

"... we're seeing Zimbabwe lead the way..."

"... a BRICS dumping ground for treasury bonds... "

"... it means we're not going to be able to bring in imports ... "

"... we're going to be in the midst of a Central Bank Digital Currency war... or stand-off, very soon... "

    "... it's not Klaus Schwab, it's King Charles... "

"... 23 individual US States that have applied for BRICS membership...

  • Recent By-Election Results - Whither Now?

    2023-08-05

I don't normally devote much time or space to analysis of the workings of our current electoral system, and certainly none to debating party-political point-scoring presented by the media, but the recent by-elections do serve as a useful barometer of how the system that purports to send "our representatives" to Parliament is faring.

Above all, it points up how easily the electorate appears to be manipulable by the media, so it reinforces my view that until we the people take an independent-minded interest in our political system, and determine to take it by the scruff and make it work for us, we are doomed to repeat all the failings of the past in perpetuity.

That said, this review by Anthony Webber for UNN does strike me as very constructive, making several useful points which would repay careful attention.

    Ukraine War is a Psy-Op

    2023-08-04

Scott Ritter again explaining why Zelensky is pursuing an unwinnable conflict in the face of "certain defeat".

To me, he makes more sense than most.

Once again, ignore the title - it's misinformation about the content (depending on interpretation of course).

  • It's Not War, It's Terrorism

    2023-08-02

Scott Ritter's latest comment on the Ukraine's missile war on Moscow: "It's not war, it's terrorism".

Moscow's response is logical and to the point.

Ignore the click-bait title, which appears divorced from reality.

  • It Has Been US Policy All Along

    2023-07-30

"What we see are official secret US policies that have included population reduction for decades.  Throughout history, the powerful have waged war on young people who resist, and have always waged war on non-conformity and non-compliance"

So what part of "official secret US policies" do we not understand?

Or to put it another way, when is "depopulation" not depopulation?

As always, it's all about perception. But if the actual effect is depopulation regardless of the label under which the measures are being carried out, then just perhaps it's reasonable to suspect the logical conclusion.

if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and swims waddles and dabbles like a duck, then it's a <insert your answer here>.

  • Five Eyes, NATO, & Chinese Election Interference

    2023-07-20

Anybody that thinks they know they know their post-WW2 history may need to review this.

Matt, a Canadian historian, has made a study of this period that paints a very different picture to that to which most of us may be accustomed.

As so often, the secret services MI6, CIA, CSIS feature heavily...

Sadly this Canadian presentation is heavy on the overbearing background muzak, but Matt is extremely knowlegeable and always (in my view) worth listening to.

  • You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

    2023-07-18

    Matthew 7:15-20

My worst subjects at school were history and geography. So I'm not a historian and cannot claim any historical insight for myself.

Nevertheless I received a Christian upbringing for which I am grateful - I find the teachings of Christ as recorded in the Bible to be relevant practical and sensible. As for the rest of it, I retain my right to suspect that over the long course of history, translation, and "interpretation", "mistakes" will have been incorporated.

When we review the long history of European Christianity we can see that it has been an unending power struggle, complete with religious wars and the persecution and burning of heretics who displeased the various religious authorities, and foremost amongst the latter we must rank the Vatican. These persecutions were not the fruits of Christ's teachings,

  • Zelensky - Agent of the British Crown?

    2023-07-16

Scott Ritter spills the beans, albeit to a dire soundtrack.

This is part one, covering the alleged involvement of MI6 in the Maidan revolution, the subsequent demonisation of and split from Russia, Russia's annexation of the Donbass and Crimea (did we really expect it to give up the base of its Black Sea fleet?), and the ensuing war (that the Ukraine seems to have comprehensively lost, and that the UK is now escalating, sending cruise missiles that could carry significant payloads deep into Russia).

  • Ukraine, World Geopolitics, WW3 Closer

    2023-07-13

NATO rejects Ukraine, but does everything else to escalate tensions with Russia...

    Where will this end?

Maybe closer to home than we think if Ukraine starts bombarding Russia with serious ordnance provided by NATO. Those provider nations must expect to become targets themselves.

  • Is Europe Importing the US "Race" Troubles?

    2023-07-07

In the USA we have had racial tensions for centuries, tensions which were fanned recently under the "Black Lives Matter" rhetoric which tried to shame everybody into apologising for the alleged crime of being "racist". Rioters were seen using conveniently placed piles of bricks (strange where those came from) to create their mayhem.

We have also had an unfamiliar but relentless campaign to improve "diversity" - a word which has seen previously unimagined levels of interpretation applied apparently in order to make acceptable practices which hitherto have been considered unacceptable by many. Tolerance is being stretched.

All over the western world now we see governments with seemingly one accord welcoming or at least accepting huge numbers of immigrants from diverse cultures without too much concern about integration assimilation or the capacity of our infrastructure to cope, and apparently no concern at all about how that will be perceived by the native population.

  • How the World Got Here

    2023-07-07

This is not about 9/11 (although that features).

It may be a bit slow for some, but they do explore the overall sequence of events since JFK was assassinated. The history of the world is inextricably tied in with events in the USA, because the USA has been instrumental in destabilising the world in the interests of the ruling elite (regardless of the president-of-the-day).

  • Iraq War, WMDs, and Dr David Kelly's "Suicide"

    2023-06-30

Dr David Kelly was outed as a "source" for a BBC report (yes you read that right - how times change) that created doubt about the "dodgy" WMD dossier relied upon by Prime Minister Blair that led to the Iraq war.

He was later found dead, ruled a suicide, a verdict disputed by many.

"... there is no possibility that at an inquest a verdict other than suicide would be returned"

    Britain subsequently went to war.

  • Civil Peace in Russia

    2023-06-25

Well, that didn't last long did it?

All nicely tied up to Putin's undoubted satisfaction - game set and match I would suggest.

Can we believe what we are being told in the papers?

Russia weak, his generals outclassed, his defence minister out of his depth (Heavens above! - are we sure they aren't projecting too much from EU experience?).

One thing we really ought to have learned from recent years is that we can't take anything we are being told at face value.

"Did Putin bribe Prigozhin to back down?" was one headline I noticed this morning. That idea is just so risible I don't know were to start.

So let's look at it from a different point of view. Instead of thinking "East vs West" "Russia vs Ukraine"

Events are moving fast and it would appear that Wagner group leader Prigozhin has declared war on President Putin.

And has invaded Russia, apparently to march on Moscow.

    Unherd reports.

    Simplicius the Thinker reports.

All as clear as mud currently. It could all be an information war psy-op, although that seems unlikely.

Prigozhin is reported to be claiming that he is not abandoning the war in the Ukraine, although how he can wage two wars simultaneously against both NATO in the Ukraine and Putin in Russia is unclear to say the least. Unless he can get the Russian armed

  • Scott Ritter Spells out the Fate of the "NATO Suicide Mission"

    2023-06-23

It's been obvious for some time that this is no way to fight a war.

If you can't beat them, sue them - for peace. That should have been done long ago, and now Russia may be in no mood for negotiation because negotiation requires goodwill, and NATO has expended whatever it had in that regard as well as most other regards.

This is likely to be a fight to the finish unless NATO falls first (my viewpoint). If NATO falls, Ukraine will agree terms. Any terms.

"This offensive has no legitimate military objective - because you can't achieve it"

"You can't use the same formula that's already failed"

"What happens when they get annihilated?"

    "NATO will never beat Russia"
