  • Is Iran Showing the Way for China?

    2026-01-02

Food for thought - there are parallels of which perhaps we should be aware...

There are a lot of questions about how well Madame Lei is actually informed about Iran, although rumours of unrest have been surfacing.

Make of it what you will.

  • The Rule of Law is Over - Long Live the Rule of the People!

    2025-12-31

It can now be seen to be true.

The law is for the containment/exploitation of the masses, not for their protection from their rulers.

Martin Geddes has lifted the lid on the situation in the UK. When push comes to shove and the UK Justice Department is asked politely to justify the authority of their courts, their only response is evasion. If they had an answer, they only had to produce it. They have not.

Follow our reporting on this long saga here.

  • Skripal Review

    2025-12-30

    Skripal and the "Novichok poisoning".

This is going back a bit time-wise, and it's a long presentation, but UK Column doesn't do things by halves.

It's no longer what we might term "current", even if it remains unresolved. But perhaps it sheds some light on the reliability of our government and how it may operate in certain areas.

    2025-12-28

It's a long story...  but Xi's authority doesn't seem to be in good shape, and the PLA may be not a few generals short...

  • 2025 Summary - Please Try to Stay Serious!

    2025-12-27

I don't want to post this article because we don't do financial advice on this site.

But it turns out that whilst investment is a seriously tricky business for many reasons, financial columnists are often (probably always!) ahead of the curve when major change is afoot - probably because they have to put their personal predilections aside in order to professionally assess what comes next - and the fourth turning is the time for major change. The most tricky bit is usually around the timing, when to buy, and even more tricky, when to sell. If (like me) you don't fully understand it, stay out of it is my best advice - even full-time professionals get it wrong. If you want to take a punt, that's your business and on your head be the results.

So with that said, I do want to post this article because it validates so much of what we have been saying for years now, and it's becoming increasingly difficult not to succumb to helpless

  • The Darkness Before the Dawn

    2025-12-25

I'm not qualified to comment on this, as I didn't have to contend with such evil in my childhood.

    But I trust Cyntha's viewpoint.

But I do have a short homily to put forward for consideration... which I hope may be helpful.

I think that to be OK with others we must first be OK with our as-yet-imperfect selves, and realise that (quite contrary to the teachings of the so-called Christian Churches that hold that we are all dreadful sinners and have to earn forgiveness of "God" - or perhaps actually of the Church on the Church's terms - sale of "indulgences" anyone? - "By their fruits shall ye know them"...

Rule of Law Over - Rule by Arbitrary "Authority" Firmly in Place?

    2025-12-24

The question mark at the end of the title is wearing rather thin nowadays.

Martin Geddes in his quest to establish the lawfulness of the Single Justice Procedure has been trying to get some confirmations from the High Court that the court naming conventions (if that's what they can be called) are often unlawful.

All this arose from his "conviction" by the Single Justice Procedure for a "parking offence" which he disputed.

With his background in IT (computers are nothing if not logical, so IT people who work with computers must work entirely with evidence and logic if they wish to solve IT problems).

Unfortunately the Justice System in the UK apparently hasn't kept up with the times in this regard...  even though it does make use of IT for administrative purposes.

Are Russian Assets Fair Game for the EU-UK Coalition?

    2025-12-24

Some say yes, but what do the lawyers say?

Does it matter what the lawyers say?

"Many readers will now argue that this is unfair and unworkable, but in this thought experiment, we are merely applying the same standards that the EU, Switzerland, and the US have applied to Russia"

    Quite so.

  • Iran, According to an Iranian

    2025-12-22

Seyed Mohammad Marandi puts forward his view of his home nation's treatment by western media.

Well, it makes a change from being invited on everyone else's talk shows to talk about the perpetual war with Israel.

"In the first episode of Demystifying Iran, we break apart the dominant myths that shape the world’s understanding of the Islamic Republic"

Part one of several then...  let's hope that in future episodes he will centre on providing an overview of the reality of life in Iran in all its variety, both because of, and in spite of, external "influences".

  • The Existential Question - AI vs Humanity - Must It be Either-Or?

    2025-12-22

Nick Hudson - follower of the money - interviewed by Neil Oliver.

Our modern world is gradually being revealed, partly through the communicative power of the internet, and partly through the growing realisation that the world is not what we thought it was, and the many who have decided that they want to know how the world really works is now growing exponentially. AI or no AI.

Those who do know should be getting increasingly worried - but who exactly are they anyway?

As money (of whatever nature) is "what makes the world go round", those who understand the operation of the various monetary systems (lawful or otherwise) should be well placed to understand how our world operates.

  • Climate Scam Continues to Fall Apart

    2025-12-13

Junk science climate scare paper (published April 2024) retracted by Nature.

How did it pass peer review? What took them so long?

"Kotz was patent nonsense... Yet Kotz was avidly picked up by government agencies around the world seemingly desperate to use any old gobbledegook to push the Net Zero fantasy"

"In a report to the British Parliament, the Climate Change Committee referenced Kotz in a section discussing economic damage arising from climate risk. Meanwhile, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) appears to have been a keen fan of Kotz and all its downstream impact works such as NGFS Phase V."

  • UK Elites Cover-Up?

    2025-12-11

We have covered the work of this ex-cop before...

... but we have had to wait until now for the full truth to (hopefully) come out into the mainstream.

"This could have all come out eight years ago..."

    "London kids need justice"
