For the avoidance of doubt, our website runs on PHP, as do many if not most others.
So I don't doubt that somebody somewhere is having a good laugh at our feeble attempts to explain what's going on in the world.
Yes it's horribly technical, and not understood by many, it's just a software "black box" that sits inside the software stack that keeps a web-site ticking over as it should.
In fact, it's probably ideal for any nefarious agency to hack, since that would likely let it monitor everything that's going on. At the very least.
But don't worry about it, it's just par for the course these days ... and reportedly it's been fixed (although probably not before the TLAs involved had instituted a better way to get what they wanted).
Brendon O'Connell has a little something to say about it, but be aware that much of what he posts is AI generated, so nobody can tell whether it's true or not ... although much of it is obvious, the rest isn't.
