UK Pressing Ahead with On-Line "Safety" Bill
2022-03-18
Big Brother Watch reminds us that the same Government that is denying reality by continuing to roll-out an experimental gene-editing therapy to our children (despite strong evidence suggestive of a link between the roll-out and increased deaths in that age group) is still obsessed by the need to make the internet safe from "legal but harmful" content.
It will do this by passing an On-line Safety Bill putting the onus on social media companies to censor the internet.
So the social media corporations who have already been deplatforming anybody who says things they don't like have now persuaded the government to force them to legally do much the same thing to all content they (or the

5D or 5G? Scientific or Spiritual?
2022-03-13
I've tagged this as "lucky dip" rather than "conspiracy" because it doesn't really fit the category of "conspiracy" - some might think it "delusion" but I don't have a category for that as it's too broad a description - so "lucky dip" it is.
5G has been a topic that many have associated with an alternative cause of Covid-like symptoms - not in all realism too difficult as the Covid symptoms are pretty generic, and some of the reports from New York in the early days were quite suggestive of radiation poisoning (pneumonitis rather than pneumonia). I'm comfortable discussing such matters because I'm working within a "scientific" or "engineering" paradigm based upon facts logic and measurement and (relatively) clear definitions.
5D (fifth dimension or 5th density) has often puzzled me (as an engineer) primarily because the engineering attributes of dimension (a

Vitamin D - Who Would Have Thought It?
2022-03-13
For those who may be worried about the alleged adverse effects of certain injections on our immune systems, GreenMedinfo publishes results from a "large nationwide study involving 12,786 men 50 years or older and 13,085 women 55 years or older. It was a randomized double blind, placebo-controlled trial"into the efficacy of a daily intake of 2000 IU (50 mcg)of vitamin D and Omega 3, over a period of five years.
"The clinical importance of this trial is high because these are well tolerated, non-toxic supplements, and other effective treatments to reduce the incidence of autoimmune diseases are lacking"
"Strengths of this study include its size and diversity; its design as a prospective, placebo controlled, randomized trial -- the "gold standard" for medical drug studies"

War!
2022-03-08
The Daily Sceptic hosts an article by Dr James Alexander (Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Bilkent University in Turkey) which, whilst prompted by the outbreak of hostilities in the Ukraine, is nevertheless more of a reflective discourse on the nature of wars past and present.
He makes a number of great points but I suggest that he doesn't fully engage with his topic. That is not to criticise at all - he has done a great job of setting the current imbroglio into some much needed context - but I would suggest some significant omissions which need to be covered.
But first, read his article.
"The war in Ukraine is a strange war, because it is old-fashioned. It is the classic European form of war, whereby one sovereign state clashes with another sovereign state over some disputed

Clif High has done with the Woo - now he is into the skirmishing.
He has some serious comments to make about the developments in the Ukraine, not to mention the state of the "deep state" and what may be likely to happen - "we are at war now".
Oh, and this was made on 25th February so it's slightly out of date, but overall I think that's not too significant.
Canada, Banking, Durham, Crypto, Vaxxlash, Cashlash, Linux(!), and the oncoming Ice Age... this is quite an upbeat presentation!

Climate change: Covid shutdown linked to record rainfall in China
As I recall, super-cooled water vapour remains as a vapour - until it meets a catalyst such as aerosol particles, when it breaths a huge sigh of relief and condenses around them, forming snow particles or water droplets depending on conditions.
It's a bit like a sugar concentrate in water - when the concentration reaches saturation, any disturbance will cause a sudden crystallisation of the sugar, separating it out.
The same thing happens in a cloud - as warm air rises the pressure drops, the volume expands and the temperature drops, reducing the capacity of the air to dissolve the water vapour. If it was warm enough

Have You Seen the Light?
2022-02-15
Today we feature an interview with Darren Nesbit, editor of the Light truthpaper, "serial entrepreneur" and free-thinker. Many of you may have been introduced to freecitizen.uk though seeing our advertisement in his paper - it's my way of supporting his excellent venture.
If there is anything that will save us from the predations of the technocrats and self-important elites that infest our political parties and structures of authority around the world, it will have to be we the common people ourselves who come to realise that we don't have to obey their every whim and fancy.
The Good Lord (of whatever persuasion you support) gave each of us the most incredible facility between our ears, and it must be regarded as the height of ungratefulness on our part not to use it to its fullest extent.
We all have our part to play, we can decide what that should be, and we can support each other to bring our joint efforts to

And Now for Something Completely Different (from 1906?)

Coming"soon" - a Tesla Tower near you?
The technology still seems to be under development, but there's little doubt that they look a lot better than electricity pylons!
How will they work out? No idea, but New Zealand is reportedly blazing a trail.
This video is from August 2020.
Whether the downsides (zapped birds etc) will prove problematic remains to be seen, but probably a technology to watch.

The Business Model to End Them All
2022-02-04
As a theoretical exercise in fanciful speculation, this takes some beating.
Think of a business model - where you get paid by your cronies in government (for a cut of course) on behalf of customers (who get your product free at point of use - what's not to like?); this model has no parallel. After all, he who pays the supplier gets to call the product supplied, and which product will your cronies supply?
Add in the charitable sector (also controlled by your cronies) collecting money to fund new products to correct the serious deficiencies of the old products - if only we could afford the immense expense of development and regulation (also run by your cronies for a cut) - and you have another income stream to cover "development".
Now imagine that the product supplied requires to be regularly renewed in order for your customer to continue to maintain their expected standard of living - and entry of competitive products to the market is strictly regulated

Humanity Never Had a Fair Chance
2022-02-01
This is going to be controversial, but there is so much "out there" now on the suggestion that the current world situation is related to the events foretold within book of Revelation that it needs an airing.
For my own part I neither accept nor reject it outright - the Bible was clearly written down the ages for a purpose, and we would be foolish indeed to discard it out of hand.
Indeed my personal intuition is supportive of the notion, as there is certainly plenty being revealed to us and there is I am sure plenty more to come. But I would be wary of believing every last word as written in the good book - there is a great deal of imagery that requires intelligent interpretation, and probably much else besides that I for one cannot bring to bear.
As always, don't panic, have faith in a just outcome, and just bear in mind that which can be neither confirmed nor denied. Until it can.

They Do Things Differently Over There
2022-01-18
The Stew Peters Show is always interesting if you want to get an American perspective on current US and world events.
This 56 minutes from Jan 11 covers a number stories and I suspect that most will find something to interest them, even the to-our-ears strange and unconvincing advertisements!
This issue qualifies for the "conspiracy" tag because it features assertions that the mainstream will deny. I neither assert nor deny - I keep my mind open. Sometimes very open, often uncomfortably open.
Warning - some of this show is distressing, and its view of the future may strike you as scary. Personally, I remain serene in the knowledge that the forces of darkness are not triumphant, indeed in many places they are in retreat (esp. in the UK currently) and are opposed daily by ever more awakening citizens of our benighted world.
There is everything to play for - so hold the line and keep the

Fruit and Veg - Elixir of Life?
2022-01-10
We are a long way from pre-history these days, but maybe the people of those times have something of value to teach us about longevity.
Certainly my own health experience has improved by leaps and bounds once I started to include fresh fruit and vegetables in daily quantity - I do not wish to go back.
It may be true that a link between diet and longevity has not been specifically proven, but it is pretty obvious that a poor diet leads to poor health. So how much extra life could we expect from dietary improvement (alongside environmental improvement of course)?
A thought to conjure with perhaps.

Lyme Regis or Lyme Connecticut?
2022-01-09
This is technically about health, but touches on so many topical issues that I found it irresistible.
However, I have not personally corroborated any of the assertions made, so you are on your own there.
Needless to say, if you are ill you are advised to consult a qualified doctor. Nevertheless, a doctor can advise you, but you retain responsibility for your own health, and I personally subscribe to the view that good health starts with a good diet as part of a healthy life-style.
None the less, sometimes one's health does need a helping hand.
Enjoy.

Law Generally Follows the Negative Externality Cost Reduction Principle
2022-01-03
The what?
Caveat 1 - we are dealing with American law here, although as far as I understand it UK law should also largely conform to this principle, originally laid out by British economist (it's OK - not all economists are incomprehensible) Ronald Coase (the Clifton R. Musser Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Law School).
Caveat 2 - the principle was set out by an economist (although he did work for a Law School).
"Generally, the party who can most cheaplyreduce the harm is the one legally and morally bound to do so in a free country"
"Points 1 through 4 are not easily

The ΔQ Morphism
2022-01-01
Happy New Year!
To kick-start 2022 we have a little piece by telecoms expert Martin Geddes with which to (mildly) tax your little grey cells!
Δ is the capital Greek letter delta, equivalent to roman alphabet D, and beloved of mathematicians and pseudo mathematicians alike who co-opt it to represent a difference of some sort. So the Δ of 5 and 8 would be 3! Why the code? Because writing Δ is a lot quicker and more succinct than writing "difference" all the time.
No, don't turn off - you don't have to understand any mathematical complexity (or any mathematics at all!) to follow the argument presented in this article, just accept the maths as given. The author explains his reasoning with great clarity and in ordinary words that we can all understand.
He makes a great point about the way that we have built the internet, and uses that to make a social inference about how we as members of society work in two

Nigel and Alp Review the Thorny Problem of Immigration
2021-12-31
Alp Mehmet, himself a child of an immigrant family, now chairman of Migration Watch UK, discusses the problematic UK immigration issue with Nigel Farage.
An interesting conversation, especially as he rose to a senior government appointment within the Foreign Office, thus qualifying him to view the issue from the position of the establishment.
So how did he come to chair Migration Watch and argue for "proper" immigration controls?
