Fluoridation - Boon or Bane?
2022-04-02
Fluoridation of water supplies has been with us for many years - so many years in fact that the origins of the practice have receded into the mists of antiquity for most practical purposes.
Now the UK Parliament intends to inflict this practice upon us whether we want it or not.
Did we vote for it? - no, we have in fact often voted against it, which is why perhaps the government has determined that we must do as we are told and drink it anyway. Enough of this voting nonsense!
So what are the arguments for and against fluoridation?
Robert Carnaghan writing somewhat inauspiciously on 1st April for the Daily Sceptic delves back into history to unearth the original arguments:
"For about 70 years it has been claimed that fluoridation reduces dental decay, and that it is safe. Although there is abundant evidence showing that in fact it is neither effective nor safe,

WHO Do They Think They Are?
2022-04-01
First a disclaimer - despite the date, this is not an April Fool's article. If only it were!
We have mentioned this impending bid for world domination by medical fiat before, but this Epoch Times article does a good all-round job of providing the details such as are available, so it's a worthy inclusion.
Highly recommended.
"the WHO wants to make its pandemic leadership permanent, and to extend it into the health care systems of every nation"
"The pandemic treaty is a direct threat to a nation’s sovereignty to make decisions for itself and its citizens, and would erode democracy

Have Childhood Vaccines Ever Been Properly Regulated?
This update received today from ICAN (Informed Consent Action Network) would strongly suggest that they have not.
"When Merck’s M-M-R II was licensed in 1978, a proper clinical trial of its safety was never conducted. From a prior ICAN demand to the FDA, we know that the safety was only assessed in 834 children for a period of 42 days in trials that had no placebo control. Further, within the first 42 days following administration of the vaccine, in one of the largest trials for this vaccine, 63% of the children experienced gastrointestinal illness and 42% had upper respiratory illness"
"Yet the FDA approved

Fluoride - the Next Step in Mass Medication
2022-03-24
Last August we reported on the government's intention to transfer responsibility for adding fluoride to the public water supplies from local authorities to the secretary of state.
The latest policy paper confirms that intention.
The Health and Care Bill as of today is in its final stages prior to Royal Assent.
So we are to be mass-medicated by law in order to protect our childrens' dental health, even though fluoride toothpaste (whatever you may think of that) has been widely available for years.
Vitamin D - Who Would Have Thought It?
2022-03-13
For those who may be worried about the alleged adverse effects of certain injections on our immune systems, GreenMedinfo publishes results from a "large nationwide study involving 12,786 men 50 years or older and 13,085 women 55 years or older. It was a randomized double blind, placebo-controlled trial"into the efficacy of a daily intake of 2000 IU (50 mcg)of vitamin D and Omega 3, over a period of five years.
"The clinical importance of this trial is high because these are well tolerated, non-toxic supplements, and other effective treatments to reduce the incidence of autoimmune diseases are lacking"
"Strengths of this study include its size and diversity; its design as a prospective, placebo controlled, randomized trial -- the "gold standard" for medical drug studies"

Have Childhood Vaccines Ever Been Properly Tested?
2022-03-03
This update received today from ICAN (Informed Consent Action Network) would strongly suggest that they have not.
"ICAN demanded an explanation for the fact that these clinical trials had too few children in the study, only reviewed safety for days or weeks, and virtually none of them included a placebo control"
"Tellingly... Maureen Hess, the FDA’s Special Assistant for Communication, admitted that she wondered to herself 'how could this be' "

Highwire Round Up - Episode 256
2022-02-26
No, nothing to do with Bayer's RoundUp.
This is the Highwire's take on recent and current global events, and no, not just health issues.
Del Bigtree and Jeffrey Jaxen as usual, discussing the protests around the world, the situation in Canada, the events in the Ukraine, back on more familiar territory with the appointment of a new head for the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) who intends to prioritise "fighting misinformation" (well, he does come from Google).
It's time to start a new paradigm - cheaper health insurance for the unvaccinated - that should put the cat amongst the pigeons.
Oh, and seguing seamlessly into climate change safety, personal carbon allowances, how would that ever work... ? Oh, the WHO's international treaty on pandemic prevention and preparedness which is

Sajid Makes a Speech
2022-02-26
Health Secretary Sajid Javid's speech at the Health Service Journal's Digital Transformation Summit
The Heath and Social Care Secreatry delivered his speech on 24th March (sic) 2022, so maybe we would be wise to pay attention (perhaps they have already digitally transformed the Health Service's calendar?)
I have commented on most of the main points below, but do read the whole speech and assess for yourselves how those on the front line of health care may be affected.
"It pushed digital transformation to levels that we never thought possible and gave this country’s digital infrastructure the biggest stress test in history.
A report from Mckinsey that I remember said that in the first few months of the pandemic

Sajid Makes a Promise
2022-02-26
On the face of it it's a step forward - but after the last two years of government politicians advisers civil servants and associated bodies turning resolutely deaf ears to all logic and science, we might be forgiven for examining the teeth of this gift horse with a microscope.
I'm not going to bother, since a politician's promise is not normally worth the breath expended when making it, so I'll content myself with just reporting on it, with a caveat.
The Daily Sceptic's report is slightly vague in so far as it isn't clear whether it's just the "provisions" that will expire or whether it is the Act itself in toto - but I take

WHO Lines up a New Pandemic Power Grab?
2022-02-25
As always obsessed by "pandemic preparedness", the WHO and its many "partners" have agreed to bring out a new accord by 22nd August to consolidate the WHO's control over the pandemic response on a global basis.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a light on the many flaws in the global system to protect people from pandemics: the most vulnerable people going without vaccines; health workers without needed equipment to perform their life-saving work; and ‘me-first’ approaches that stymie the global solidarity needed to deal with a global threat”
No recognition at all that the vaccines do not even work according to their own limited terms, and are being rolled out to age groups that have need of neither the vaccines nor their "side-effects".
This is the face of an insulated global elite that has no concept of the lives of ordinary people.

Javid's New NHS Deal
2022-02-09
Unherd assesses Sajid Javid's latest NHS materplan...
"In his speech, Javid began by emphasising the need for more doctors and nurses while conveniently ignoring the impact of his recent proposal to force mandatory vaccination on NHS staff"
"And it’s not just the lack of staff either. The NHS has a dismal record on employment rights, discrimination, and abuse of its staff... "
"Let’s hope that Javid does not turn out to be yet another in a long line of a health secretaries with a fundamental lack of understanding of how the NHS functions"
Maybe we should be thinking in terms of what is wrong with the system that produces such a long

"Why I'm Quitting the NHS"
2022-02-03
The Daily Sceptic reports on why an NHS Clinical Scientist is leaving.
"A core principle in healthcare is to ensure that patients are given free access to all information, to enable them to make a proper and informed choice about any treatment. As a scientist, I have been and still am gravely concerned about the Government and NHS misrepresentation of these vaccines as ‘safe and effective’"
"I have been appalled by the NHS willingness to trample over the concept of personalised medicine in the promotion of products still in phase three trials"
"NHS contracts do not specify any requirement of taking part in human experimentation. In any case, human experimentation should be carried out under the safeguards of the Nuremberg Code, which has been sadly violated in all its points during the vaccination campaign"
"The last straw, however, has been the participation of our hospital in

Farmed Salmon - An Assessment
2022-02-03
The Defender, mouthpiece for R.F.K Jr's Children's Health Defence, reviews the healthy eating options for salmon, a fish that used to be caught "wild" in my youth by rod and line but has since many years now been "farmed".
It's relatively easy to farm land animals, given appropriate fencing, but it's tricky and probably prohibitively expensive to fence off an area of tidal loch, so salmon tends to be kept in cages with a wholly unnatural livestock density. To me it seems obvious that this amounts to gross cruelty, since in its wild state a salmon is spawned in an upstream river and migrates vast distances across the world before returning to it's home waters to create it's own off-spring in turn.

Defending NHS Staff against Mandatory Jabs for Jobs
2022-01-12
The Bruges Group (of all people) highlight the only union that will defend employees against this imposition.
"Sadly, the large trade unions and professional associations have failed to protect their members from the threat of dismissal. In fact, Unison and the Royal College of Nursing support vaccination in the belief that it protects patients and staff. This is despite mounting evidence that infections occur as frequently in the vaccinated as in the unvaccinated"
"Only one trade union fought for care home workers. The Workers of England Union, led by Stephen Morris and Robin Tilbrook, with a small band of assertive representatives, took managers to task for harassing workers who exercised their bodily autonomy"

Guidance to GPs on Vaccine Safety Ignores Pfizer Trial Data?
2022-01-12
The Pfizer trial data is proving contentious.
Frankly I would like to feature fewer Covid stories, but some strike me as important. This is one such, as it perfectly illustrates the apparent dishonesty underlying the vaccines drive being so assiduously pushed by our authorities.
This is not data that has arisen post vaccination roll-out - this is data from the original Pfizer safety and efficacy trials. It should have been identified and investigated before the vaccine roll-out ever started.
It joins a long list of problems with the Covid pandemic story (the test that doesn't work, the alternative treatments that were suppressed, the unproven "asymptomatic infection" narrative, the bare-faced lie so beloved of our "journalists" that a

Fruit and Veg - Elixir of Life?
2022-01-10
We are a long way from pre-history these days, but maybe the people of those times have something of value to teach us about longevity.
Certainly my own health experience has improved by leaps and bounds once I started to include fresh fruit and vegetables in daily quantity - I do not wish to go back.
It may be true that a link between diet and longevity has not been specifically proven, but it is pretty obvious that a poor diet leads to poor health. So how much extra life could we expect from dietary improvement (alongside environmental improvement of course)?
A thought to conjure with perhaps.

Lyme Regis or Lyme Connecticut?
2022-01-09
This is technically about health, but touches on so many topical issues that I found it irresistible.
However, I have not personally corroborated any of the assertions made, so you are on your own there.
Needless to say, if you are ill you are advised to consult a qualified doctor. Nevertheless, a doctor can advise you, but you retain responsibility for your own health, and I personally subscribe to the view that good health starts with a good diet as part of a healthy life-style.
None the less, sometimes one's health does need a helping hand.
Enjoy.

Kondratieff Waves meet the World of Woo
2021-12-28
The self-organising-collective meets the communist academic's financial system melt-down.
Not for the first time, Clif High gives us a masterclass, this time in how he sees the approaching economic and financial chaos and the subsequent resolution.
He is his own man and makes some pertinent points about how the system may fail and how "the Donald" may be seeking to guide our expectations.
As always, it's your judgement, I am not going to take sides in how this situation is going to develop.
Buckle up - this "q uack-up" is getting nearer by the day... and in terms of time-frame I note that both he and Ben Fulford are postulating not dissimilar expectations.
