The Scotsman publishes a sensible article drawing attention to the undesirable effects resulting from the apparent competition between the nations' leadership teams over who can spin the best tale about Covid suppression. Lives and livelihoods are being lost as a result. Well, what did we expect?
None-the-less it isn't just that devolution "needs a reset" - abolition would be the sensible step - but what "review" conducted by political appointees would even consider abolition as an option, let alone recommend it?!
Devolution was always calculated to sow division jealousy confusion and grievance whilst blurring the lines of responsibility and enriching the political classes at taxpayers' expense.
Right-thinking unionists everywhere should grasp the nettle and start a campaign!
