We are by now familiar with the old colonial practices whereby the wealth of the colony was extracted and shipped home - by any means necessary, including war, slave labour, child labour, bribery and corruption of the ruling elite.
But a case can be made that the UK itself is now being treated as a colony, and this time it's the wealth of the "middle class" population that is subjected to extraction.
Of course it's all about taxation, "our" NHS, inheritance tax (painless, at least for the deceased) and some think by money-laundering through the government to private pockets (of the central bankers?) although minor funds may be diverted to their cronies (fast-track procurement channels anybody?).
So what's new?!
Of course this is simply the latest "conspiracy theory", so best ignore it.
