Where are we in Britain now? How did we get here? How do we recover from here?
Watch, listen, take note. He's the only man I know who can place our current political travails in a proper historical context. If we don't understand the context, then we can't map a proper way back to sanity, we can only tear down what we have ... but what would we do then?
We need to avoid making the same mistakes all over again.
Nobody explains this like David Starkey. If we really have to have a "National Treasure", then he gets my vote!

Pete Hegseth calls in 800 Generals/Admirals for mystery briefing / convocation this week - large corporates have rules about flying all their senior staff on the same aircraft in case something like MH370 happens - does the US military not do likewise?
In a fake world where nothing is as it seems, no treachery can be ruled out. The same goes for Ben himself of course, so "your discretion is advised" ...
The same even goes for Trump ... deep fakes are all too easy to set up these days.
Matters globally do seem to be coming to a head of some sort (even, as noted elsewhere, in China), with plenty of those who should know better gunning for more war. Where have they been this last century?
We probably ought not to miss this report - modest subscription required for full access.
Today we also bring you an article on what factors are driving the global fuel markets currently - war is money after all ...

Is Xi JinPing in serious trouble?
Yes, it's murky, but perhaps she's practising to become China's version of Miss Marple?
And what event may or may not be slated for mid October?

A Scientist Discusses Aliens

The world (and beyond!) is a strange place - but can we make sense of it?
We have featured a number of articles which perhaps have little time for the state of current "science" - and indeed there are good reasons for thinking that much of what passes for science these days is at minimum deluded or more likely simply false, probably deliberately false.
Still, this guy (whom claims to be a conventional "scientist") does make a plausible discussion out of the "alien" topic if we accept today's "science" as reasonably accurate.
"Harvard Scientist Dr. Avi Loeb reveals the astronomy behind why 3I/Atlas could cancel your Halloween plans"
Having now watched the video all the way through (despite adverts!), I think it quite well worthwhile, and a great deal with which to agree.
Now all I need is to see the sequel ... say "Clif High meets Avi Loeb" - now that really would be something!
Make of it what you will ...

Covid - The Devil's Gift that Keeps on Giving

Is there more to learn from the Covid Experience, or have we reached the bottom of the sack of horrors already / at last / so soon?
We have featured articles on the incoming population implosion already, but it's pertinent to ask whether the C jabs have contributed to this sudden reversal of human birth rates - despite the misgivings of those who may have vested time and money in pharmaceutical interests.
If we don't ask, we don't find out. A cheery but unsupported assurance that the quaxxines couldn't possibly be to blame doesn't cut the mustard any more (if it ever did - remember Thalidomide - as it seems nobody else cares to).
So could an injection based on novel technology and rushed to market "at warp speed", and then only given approval for emergency use, possibly cause adverse effects on pregnant mums-to-be? I would have thought that the answer to that question should have been blindingly obvious.
Apparently, it wasn't.
One might consider alternative explanations, but none seem suitable for discussion here.
In case of doubt, check this out.
