Politics and economics are two sides of the same coin. So if our politics is broken (and who would disagree these days?) then it's no surprise that so is our economics.

And so too should the financial analysts have something to say about the politics.  

Whether or not you agree with the title, the latest article from Investor's daily nails many problems that politicians' fantasies have created ...

 ... but will any politician deign to listen?

Some lazy politicians think that forcing people to vote would solve the problem of low turn-out.

I welcome the idea, but maybe they should be careful what they wish for. After all, if all the disillusioned came out and spoiled their paper by politely writing "none of these candidates" across it, then just maybe the aggregate would be enough to win the election, and nobody would be returned to Parliament ...

We have to rid ourselves of these guys somehow.
