Should we begin stockpiling supplies of essentials?
Don't all rush down to Tesco at once, but could we cope if the shelves were bare for while? After all, the transportation of freight runs mainly on diesel, which due to the global oil supply situation is running very short currently.
Occasional outages might be the best of it.
Maybe we should have thought of this earlier, but better late than never. Just don't go overboard - that would probably precipitate the very crisis we don't need. Little and often perhaps ... we don't have room for all those toilet rolls anyway.
But from where might a real threat actually come?
