That our UK government is hell-bent on importing as many immigrants as wish to come is now established beyond reasonable doubt.
But won't the new deal with Rwanda dissuade at least the uninvited from coming?
Well, anybody enthusiastic enough to risk a sea crossing by underpowered overcrowded deflatable may not be too discouraged by a theoretical risk of (temporary?) redeployment elsewhere.
But even if they are, will our intake of the uninvited really be reduced by as many are are (temporarily?) sent away again?
