How could we object?
Well we can't, since there isn't any official mechanism whereby we the people can lodge democratic objections, much less have them heard and impartially considered, without overthrowing our governments.
There is of course facility for approved "stakeholders" to contribute, so if you can navigate the stakeholder labyrinth (defence in depth) you might penetrate some obscure pocket of their defences, so good luck with that.
