"In April 2020, the high number of deaths of people in care homes brought into sharp focus the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic ... " - Quite so.
Of course this is put down to - in effect - incompetence. Nobody realised the risks of a pandemic to the "vulnerable elderly' in care homes!
What do we pay these "experts" for? Why were the results of all the previously existing pandemic preparedness planning exercises thrown out of the window and ignored?
Why should anybody take pandemic advice from such an "incompetent" team in the future?
Of course, in the unthinkable circumstance that they all knew that Covid was a hoax pandemic, wouldn't this high number of reported early deaths be exactly what was required to instil fear of the pandemic in the public mind, thereby reinforcing compliance with all the absurdly restrictive and destructive measures being set out for the "protection of the public"?
