This is a quite informative little piece which covers much of the history of Ukraine's relationship with Russia, and does a fair if necessarily cursory job of it.

However, there is at least one glaringly obvious critical omission which doesn't even get a single mention.

The 2014 Maidan revolution, inspired by the CIA under Obama, overthrew the government of Ukraine, sent President Viktor Yanukovych fleeing to Russia, and ushered in years of conflict between the Russophile provinces of Eastern Ukraine and the "pro-Western" government in Kiev.

The Minsk Agreements which were negotiated between the warring factions with support from Russian and EU politicians were ineffective, and subsequently led to Russia's Special Military Operation. Yes, it's more complicated than a single video can fully address, but to omit it altogether isn't merely unreasonable, it completely undermines the analysis presented.
