I think that this just about sums up the mood of many, probably the mood of the Nation.
One might well expect organised crime to be attracted to money and power like flies to road kill, but even if our politics isn't significantly corrupt (what is to prevent it?), it certainly isn't working.
This site has no party political allegiance - as far as we are concerned no MP can serve two masters, so he must choose to represent those who control his Party, or to represent his constituents. Only the unctuously slippery can manage to appear to represent both, and any MP who values his tenure must obey his party whips.
Nevertheless "it takes two to tango", and those constituents who make no effort to seriously understand and engage in politics hugely outnumber those that do get involved. Until "we the people" organise to take on a much bigger involvement, it's hard to see how the current system can be reformed.
That said, the residents of Clacton have something to say ....

This might set the proverbial cat amongst the pigeons. Perhaps it should be banned as offensive to all wrong-thinking people who make it their business to be egregiously put out by anything that they disagree with?
But the truth is that it reinforces that ancient but excellent principle of British Justice that many thought had been abandoned years ago (although nobody quite knew when exactly ... ).
“The right to freedom of expression, if it is a right worth having, must include the right to express views that offend, shock or disturb"
Pass me my smelling salts!
Still, all may not be completely unfettered:
“A person who acts so as to cause harassment, alarm or distress to another may commit an offence”
Now "harassment" "alarm" and "distress", like "offend" "shock" and "disturb", are not precise in everyday English, so there is wriggle room here; but even so, "may" does not imply "will".
A key point that seems to have been overlooked is that "offence" can be offered but yet not taken, or taken even when not actually offered, whilst alarm and distress are thought to be caused (even if they might be readily feigned), even as one man's harassment might be another's water off a duck's back.
Lumping these terms together is potentially problematic. Still, "harassment" has a legal definition, whilst "alarm" and "distress" seem to require association with "threatening or abusive behaviour" in order to lead to an offence being committed, whilst "intent" must be proven for all three.
So all in all, it looks like a good step backward toward times when sanity once prevailed in our Courts rather more widely than has seemed evident in recent years.
Now, which flag should we run up the pole to celebrate ..?

Alert readers may notice the additional quote in our site masthead!
Clif High is an extraordinary polymath of vast learning and exceptional life experience. Following his teachings is also an exceptional experience, by which perhaps many may be unpersuaded, but which I find logically compelling as his notions fit in well with my intuitive (yet not so far very practical!) understanding of how this universe works.
The critical question (which perhaps Science as we know it gets backwards) is:
"Which acts as foundation for the other: consciousness or 3-dimensional matter?"
You may agree I think that the question is fundamental!
If consciousness is the foundation of matter, then it follows that if we wish to understand matter then we must first understand consciousness, whereas if somehow consciousness arises from matter then we must first understand the material universe (the default "scientific" approach).
If matter is derived from consciousness, then we arrive at an understanding (in some ways supported by "science") that "matter" is, despite our experience of it and relationship to it, only an illusion (perhaps along with "time" and "space").
The scientific approach as we know it has a nasty (and in my view quite unjustified) habit of dissociating itself from matters religious and/or spiritual, but I contend that no true science can neglect to understand and account for all facets of our universe - to arbitrarily exclude matters spiritual and religious is cowardly or ignorant, or both. What are these "scientists" afraid of? And how do they think that consciousness arises from matter? Have they actually observed it happening (other than from already living beings)?
Enough of my ramblings - Clif endorses the notion that the 3D universe and all its content (a.k.a. "gritology") arises from consciousness (a.k.a. "the ontology") - a currently revolutionary notion that reverses the foundational assumptions of modern science. If we would explore the ensuing ramifications then I know of no better guide than Clif High.
But please be prepared to accommodate his perhaps overly "spicy" style of language. He's only human after all ...

Did Wilhelm Reich photograph living viruses in the 1930s?
Regular readers will be familiar with our (and Mike Yeadon's) suggestion that modern-day viruses are a hoax put about by the industry in order to justify injecting the healthy with their products - the healthy being a much larger population than the already sick, and thus present the potential for bigger profits by several orders of magnitude!
If Wilhelm was photographing live viruses in vivo, (and destroying them with pin-point accuracy by bio resonance!) doesn't that prove us wrong?
Unlikely for several reasons - but primarily that Big Pharma went to some trouble to ensure that his discoveries were never to be developed, because they would have made the pharmaceutical industry obsolete. Big Pharma's version of virology isn't based on Wilhelm Reich's research, so if his story is correct, their's is BS.
You can read his story here, courtesy of Fall of the Cabal's Cyntha Koeter.
