Maybe it isn't "racism" after all.

Maybe it's just good old-fashioned self-interest. And before we criticise ourselves for selfishness, we might remember two salient points

• We too are people with as much right to the benefits of life as anybody else
• Whilst we remain standing, we can provide help to others, but if we succumb to whatever threat may exist, we will be unable to provide help to others.

Hence whilst training with the TA we were told to put our own gas mask first before helping anyone else, and similarly we are advised in an aircraft decompression emergency to put on our own oxygen mask first before helping anybody else.

It's simple logic.

Yet in today's era of logic inversion, those in charge (predominantly but by no means exclusively of "the Left") want us all to effectively give our rights

The gauntlet dropped by Q was picked up by amateur sleuths everywhere.

"The “QAnon” label became a catch-all smear—any discussion of government corruption, human trafficking, or elite criminal networks could now be dismissed as “QAnon conspiracy theories"

... but only by the gullible. The amateur sleuths continued regardless and brought us to where we are today.

Perhaps AI has its uses after all.

Martin Geddes (yes, he again) now summarises (with a little help from ChatGPT) just why he considers that Durham County Council may be outside the law in terms of its council tax enforcement processes.

That isn't at all to say that all councils are similarly suspect - I have no details - but nor can I rule it out, especially as many of them, like CDOS (see the article) will be members of the CIVEA (Civil Enforcement Association) and may be thought likely to have similar systems to Durham CC.

Elon Musk's DOGE is showing how to deal with those on the take.

As part of its investigations into Government Efficiency it will investigate those who have somehow appeared to acquire huge wealth despite being on salaries that could not have produced such wealth.

Now it's quite possible these days to buy and sell crypto (Bitcoin for example) at precisely the right time, and make a fortune, but it's not exactly commonplace.

So employees of agencies which misspent government funds, and who appear to have acquired wealth beyond scope of salary, would, bearing in mind the public interest, seem to have little potential for any automatic benefit of the doubt, and should be nicely asked to account for their good fortune. As always, they do not have to comply with a polite request if they do not so wish, but those who have good explanations could set the investigators minds at rest. The "QANON Conspiracy" has been the subject of much mis/dis/mal-information over recent years, and Blighty's own Martin Geddes was in the forefront of checking out the Q phenomenon in the early days.

Here he utilises the newfangled AI phenomenon to review the output of the Q "conspiracy theorists" and see what the "non-human intelligence" makes of it all in retrospect.

Elon Musk's investigation of the USAID payees has been extraordinarily revealing, showing just where the resources have been directed - and apparently not toward the well-being of the average US citizen.

If reports are to be believed, funds have been channelled through UN agencies and NGOs (and elsewhere), making USAID more akin to a slush fund for illegal activities everywhere.

And yet...

I feel that more water yet must pass beneath the bridge before we will see a believable solution to the Gaza situation. After all, Israel is not exactly victorious, nor any longer an attractive destination for immigration to rebuild its shattered economy.

The unspoken question is surely: "Whither Israel?". We need to answer this before we can be confident about the future of Gaza, and its remaining inhabitants.

We are now accustomed to the notion that "the AI" will be intent to replace humanity (and ultimately control the remaining humans through the IoT - the Internet of Transhumans: Homo Transfectus). Well, independence is not very likely when it receives copious funds from a government agency.

As we are finding out slowly, the US may not be a model of probity that other governments should emulate.

USAID seems to have been something of slush fund for... let's just say dubious causes, as has been propelled unceremoniously into the public gaze by Elon Musk.

Another recipient of similarly government-funded largesse is thought to be a major "independent" political journal.
