Exactly. They are largely unknown because they keep themselves out of the limelight, out of the news, operating behind the scenes through front groups, especially the "secret" services, the global bankers, corporations, media, charitable foundations, and unelected NGOs the world over, not to mention the WEF and their placemen in national and local governments the world over.
Today though they are getting an unaccustomed volume of publicity, just not in the increasingly lame-stream media.
It seems that they may be closely linked to the Committee of 300.
And all of the above dishonest corrupt and intent on global control, to shape the world for their own ends. What sort of ends? Well, one has only to check out the extremes of the Woke Agenda to see that they are using any and all means to ensure incoming depopulation - abortion, transition (infertility), jabs (infertility), same sex relationships (no children), lower standards of living (both partners have to work, implying state-sponsored control of children), secret family court hearings (family disruption). Yes, some of these assertions may be disputed, but they all point in the same direction.
